In the 1980s, a French father/son shoemaking team, named Adige, designed and made some of the highest quality, most attractive and wearable "sexy" boots ever to hit the mass-produced women's footwear market throughout Europe and North America. The Adige label never became popular or well known in traditional fashion circles, but to true fetish aficionados, Adige knee-length, and especially thigh-high boots, were ultimately desirable. They came in smooth, sleek, black, red, white, silver and gold leather. They came in gleaming patent and snakeskin, leopard and zebra. Unfortunately, Adige boots also came and went by the early '90s! In this fascinating story, DJ describes meeting the Adiges, both father and son, in Paris during the early '80s, and presents photos collected over the past 20 years of Adige boots owned and worn by exotic and fetishistic women who are avid Bootlovers.Com followers and still wear their Adige boots proudly!

A Complete Mystery

Like many bootlovers, Boot Lady Teri keeps her eye on eBay for interesting offerings in the ladies' footwear category. Quite recently she spotted a provocative pair of black-leather thigh boots - well, actually crotch-high boots - just as the offering party put them up on line. With her eagle eye, Teri spotted the peculiar qualities of these one-of-a-kind, obviously custom-made boots, including the unusual cloth lining and top garter tabs, and acted promptly to buy them from the seller before the bids got started. DJ was out of the country when all this happened. Teri figured he would know where or when the boots were made. Sometime Teri gives DJ a bit too much credit! DJ has a few guesses, but these boots remain a genuine mystery. We'll tell you all about them and show them to you, inside and out. Maybe you can help us identify who made them!

 

 

 

CONFESSIONS OF A FETISHIST

This month, John ashamedly relates his experience with a woman he met in Texas several years ago. She was a bit older, and not particularly striking, but she had two pairs of thigh-high boots!
